IPM Named Funds

In February of 2006, the entire IPM Family was devastated to learn of the sudden passing of Dr. Ralph Brody.  Ralph, a longtime IPM friend, consulted and conducted workshops throughout his career in Europe, Africa, and Asia.  In June 2004, he facilitated IPM's first-ever Technical Assistance & Training Workshop for women in Kenya.  At the time of his passing, he served as Associate Professor of Social Work at Cleveland State University.  Ralph was honored with a posthumous Rev. Richard E. Sering Award at IPM's 2006 luncheon for his lifetime of work with women and children around the world.

Ralph's wife, Phyllis, established The Ralph Brody Income Generating Activity Fund to honor Ralph's memory.  This Fund will carry on the vision that Ralph had: of establishing micro-enterprises run by women in IPM's Sub-Saharan Africa Region.
