IPM Named Funds

In June of 2007, the Board of Directors of the Edward and Betty Sloat Foundation approved funding for the Sloat Foundation for Immersion Experience Program Scholarship Fund.  At IPM, the Sloat Fund will provide life-changing opportunities for youth who would otherwise be unable to afford participation in IPM's Immersion Experience Program.  The establishment of this Fund will allow IPM the resources to provide these opportunities to socially marginalized and materially poor youth for many years to come.  In 2007, a group of female students from Cleveland's Fatima Family Center traveled to Tanzania with the assistance of the Sloat Fund.
