IPM Named Funds

The Bernie Marquardt Project Bridge Fund provides immediate financial assistance to new and developing projects to help keep them afloat until ongoing support can be secured.  This fund was created in honor of Bernie Marquardt Wilde's 25 years of service to International Partners in Mission including three years as Executive Director from 1997 to 2000.

A surprise banquet for family and friends was held in Bernie's honor in St. Louis on July 12, 2002, which included the announcement of the fund.  Bernie was presented with a plaque that read: "From 1974-2000, Bernie's tireless efforts to provide an alternative, effective, and personal way to participate in mission projects that promote justice, peace, and hope have improved the lives of thousands."
